TYPE OF PROJECT: Exhibition pavillion
LOCATION: Helsinki
YEAR: 2015
SOUTH OF NORTH was a year-long collaboration between architects from Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark. All participants had previously carried out building projects in the global south and now worked together to exchange experiences and present their projects in a group exhibition. The pavilion was designed by the participating architects and constructed on site in Helsinki. The fundamental idea was to use simple yet robust materials in a structure that could easily be dismantled and reused after the exhibition ended.
In the exhibition, I was also responsible for curating and structuring the visual and textual content.
