On a site sloping down toward the Arboga River, an art-interested private client commissioned a sculpture from the series Stacks – a modern addition to the traditional wooden architecture of the old town center. The form connects well to the nearby stone river walls made of stacked granite stone blocks. The sculpture is both brutalist and playful in its expression, an important wish from the client. The sculpture was cast on site by the artist.
