MY KIND OF YOGA + SCHEDULE
Yoga is not for everyone. All types of yoga do not suit all types of people. What suits me is a strong, fun, serious, unpretentious, breath-focused, challenging, arm balance-strewn and inversion-packed Vinyasa.
Because this is what I practice, it is also what I teach. Sometimes in the form of Rocket Yoga, other times as dynamic, thematic Vinyasa Flow classes. Whatever the name on the schedule, you will be stuck in the shala with me, some hiphop and deep house in the playlist.
I teach a type of yoga that men seem to like. Not because they’re the only ones who can go upside down, but because their muscular strength does work in their favour. That they leave the class with improved flexibility is just an added advantage. I get many strong women too.
In my teaching, I tend to mostly use physiological cues. I usually don’t chant mantras and I rarely talk about chakras. This does not mean that I don’t value yoga philosophy or believe yoga is a way of life. It´s just not a part of my asana teaching. Staying with the breath seems to suffice.

Regular classes in Stockholm:
Mondays 19:00-20:15: Strong Vinyasa Flow at InBalance Yoga, Wollmar Yxkullsgatan 1
Tuesdays 12:00-13:00: Strong Vinyasa Flow at InBalance Yoga, Hornstulls strand 9
Thursdays 07:00-08:15: Rocket Vinyasa at Altromondo, Grev Turegatan 18
Fridays 16:30-18:00: Rocket Vinyasa at InBalance Yoga, Hornstulls strand 9 (on a rotating schedule with some other great teachers – info on specific dates to come)
