I haven’t managed to find a Sanskrit name for this twisted two legged compass/boat variation, but it´s a lot of fun in its weirdness.
Start in Navasana – boat pose – with bent legs. Grab your feet if you can reach them – right hand to right foot and left to left. Straighten the legs while lengthening your spine and pull the shoulders down and away from the ears. Then twist to one side, going underneath that arm and letting that foot come closer to your face.
You might find that you have to tense the shit out of all your muscles to keep balance and alignment, but that’s normal. Just add on a smile, laugh if you fall and do it again.
